The site has been created with the hopes of providing SLCAM members, and non-members alike, a medium to find up-to-date information about the association and its on goings.
The mission of the SLCAM is to provide a vehicle to promote, foster and maintain the cultural heritage of people of Sri Lanka. Would you like to eliminate stress and develop inner calmness? Take a moment to attend a public lecture on why we are stressed and how we can eliminate stress through moment to moment awareness. The lecture will be conducted by U. Dhammajiva Thero, a meditation master from Sri Lanka and author of “In This Life Itself”.
The lecture will take place July 2nd, from 7 to 9:30pm at the Hotel Double Tree by Hilton, 505 Sherbrooke St. East, Montreal.

After a treacherous winter, the SLCAM is looking forward to begin the summer activities with a carwash. The car wash is due to take place on the 5th of July at the Esso Station in the corner of Brunswick and St.Jean, Pointe Claire (Facing Fairview shopping center).
Last year, our carwash raised more than $200 in total. This year we are hoping to raise the bar and bring more people to the event.

A Pot Luck will take place this Sunday, the 15th of June at the Coolbrooke Chalet in DDO starting at 6pm.
If the weather cooperates a cricket match or two will certainly be played. So come join us and enjoy a Sunday evening in the company of good friends, good food and lots of laughs.
All attendees are asked to kindly contribute a food or beverage towards the pot-luck.
